A Guest Gives Her Opinion
Vaun Thygerson, a staff writer for the Kern County Family magazine, recently gave some insight from her visit to R-Ranch. She first asked: "What do you get when you cross eight 'tween' girls, three mom chaperones, and a remote mountain cabin with no cell reception, internet access, or television?" Her answer: "Memories and friendships that will last a lifetime." The girls "thoroughly enjoyed creating their own adventure, exploring this new environment, singing at the top of their lungs, soaking in a hot tub, and even... jumping into an ice-cold swimming pool." Yes, indeed, "life 'unplugged' can be fun!"
